See a Concert at the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park
Any music lover visiting the Jersey Shore should catch a concert at the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park. This outdoor venue is an iconic part of the Shore’s music scene. Bands range from chill folk up-and-comers to seasoned rock acts and more. The 2026 concert calendar is packed with fantastic shows. You can catch pop-punk heavyweights or enjoy a triple bill of 90s nostalgia with Blues Traveler, Gin Blossoms, and Spin Doctors on August 6. Other upcoming highlights include the indie folk of Lucy Dacus on July 25 and the unique Yacht Rock Revue on August 14 & 15.

Visit the Monmouth County Fair in Freehold
The Monmouth County Fair in Freehold is a must for anyone visiting the Jersey Shore this summer. Happening from July 22nd to July 26th, there’s plenty of time to explore what the fair has to offer, including rides, games, and live entertainment. This year’s fair promises even more excitement, with free entertainment like Andrew’s Big Show, a dinosaur zoo, and Robinson’s Racing Pigs. Make sure to catch “The Ultimate Queen Celebration” tribute band performing on the main stage on Saturday, July 25th! With an average of 90,000 attendees, it’s one of the biggest summer events in Monmouth County. Admission is only $10, and children 12 and under enter free.

Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary
Summer 2026 is a historic time to be at the Jersey Shore, as the nation celebrated its 250th birthday on July 4th, 2026. From spectacular fireworks to special patriotic events, there are countless ways to join the celebration. The Monmouth County Fair itself will host a special “Kick-Off the Countdown” event on its opening night, featuring a Sons of the American Revolution Color Guard, reenactors, and a grand fireworks display. The MonmouthNJ 250 Committee will also have a tent set up with a traveling exhibit about life during the Revolutionary War
Many towns along the Shore are hosting their own fireworks displays this summer. Atlantic City and Wildwood are famous for their extravagant shows over the water, drawing thousands of visitors. On Saturday, July 25th, 2026, along Sunset Lake near Atlanta and New Jersey avenues, families and friends can enjoy live music, magic and variety shows, face painting, and FREE photos with Santa! To cap off the event, 40 boats decorated for Christmas will travel along Sunset Lake around 8:45 pm. This festive spectacle is a must-see for anyone visiting Jersey Shore this summer.

Throughout July, Brick SummerFest transforms Windward Beach Park into a hub of live music, great food, and family fun. This is one of the best free summer concert series at the Shore, and it’s the perfect way to spend a summer evening. The 2026 lineup is packed with fantastic tribute bands guaranteed to get you dancing:

- July 30: The Brit Pack (British Invasion Tribute)
The fun starts at 5:30 pm with food vendors and a beer and wine garden.
